The Hotel

All rooms are double or twin with en-suite facilities. Each room is different but offers the same facilities: Colour remote TV, direct dial telephone, hairdryers, tea/coffee making facilities and complimentary toiletries.

Some rooms are ground floor with patios whilst others are first floor with balconies. Every room has a garden view.

The original 16th century building forms the main part of the Hotel, the kitchens, some hotel rooms and the beamed ceiling licensed bar with its original inglenook fireplace.

Food is very important to us and because we are relatively small we offer only the freshest of local produce cooked to order by Aga. Local fish and shellfish feature on the menu alongside other traditional dishes.

Vegetarian dishes are always available. Breakfast may consist of fresh free range eggs cooked to order, full English breakfast, kipper or devilled kidneys.

In the summertime hot or cold snacks may be served in the 16th Century bar, in the conservatory or under the shade on the lawn. Morning coffee and cream teas are also served both to residents and non-residents.

Kilbol has ample car parking alongside the Hotel in a car park which is illuminated at night.

The Hotel does not cater for children under 12 years of age, however dogs of any age are welcome.
