Kilbol Country House Hotel Booking Terms and Conditions

THE FOLLOWING TERMS AND CONDITIONS APPLY TO ALL BOOKINGS MADE IN RELATION TO KILBOL COUNTRY HOUSE HOTEL

DEPOSITS
All bookings must be confirmed with a deposit, this may be paid by cash, credit/debit card or cheque in pounds sterling.

TARIFF
The tariff will be that promulgated on notice boards and in each room folder. A tariff will be sent with each confirmation letter. The hotel reserves the right to change the tariff at any time and without prior notification to guests. The tariff rate quoted on the confirmation letter will however be the rate charged.

DOGS
Dogs are welcome in the hotel, but they should be well behaved and cause no damage whatsoever to the hotel and/or fittings and furniture. Prior notification of a dogs intended stay - must be given. A charge of £10.00 per dog will be made, this is for additional cleaning prior to the occupation of the next guest.

SINGLE ROOMS
The hotel has no single rooms, however single occupancy of a twin or double bedroom may be possible subject to availability and season. A charge of ROOM rate less 20% will be made in such circumstances and this tariff will include dinner, whether taken or not. Out of season and subject to availability, the extra charge may not be made.

VEGETARIANS
The hotel is NOT a vegetarian hotel. However the daily menu for dinner will usually offer a meat or a fish and vegetarian main course. Should the main course choice be unsuitable the hotel will try to offer an alternative. There will however usually be some of the courses on most menus that will not be suitable for vegetarians. The hotel does not cater at all for vegans.

SMOKING
Hotel rooms are fitted with smoke detectors thereby precluding any smoking in the bedrooms. No ashtrays or fireproof bins are provided in the bedrooms. The lounge and the dining room are also non smoking areas. Smoking is permitted in both the bar and conservatory.

CHECK IN/CHECK OUT TIMES
To allow hotel staff time to thoroughly clean the rooms we would advise that check in time should not be before 15.00 hours and that check out time is 10.00 hours.

LATE ARRIVALS (AFTER 6.00PM)
Must be notified prior to 6.00pm otherwise the hotel reserves the right to relet the room without further consultation.

CANCELLATION AND INSURANCE
Deposits are refundable subject to the following:
If the accommodation can be relet - Total deposit refund less £10 admin charge
If the accommodation cannot be relet - Refund will be, less one third of the total accommodation charge for services unused. To cover unforeseen circumstances we offer holiday cancellation insurance.

CHILDREN
The hotel does not cater for children under 12 years of age.

DEFINITIONS
"Full ensuite bathroom facilities" means a room attached to the bathroom with a toilet, wash hand basin and a bath. "Full ensuite showerroom facilities" means similar but with a shower. "Double room" means a room with a double bed, a "Twin Bedded Room" means a room with twin beds ie two matching single beds.
